Job summary

Uplift Media Group is a small, remote software agency that designs and builds products for clients. We are looking for a part-time marketing person to tell our story consistently on social media, on our website, and in video.

This contract role is roughly 5 to 10 hours per week, fully remote and US-based, with pay of $25 to $40 per hour depending on experience. You’ll create social posts, write website content, draft video scripts, and help shape a lightweight content calendar.

Qualifications

• Solid writing instincts: you can make technical work clear and approachable.
• Experience with social media engagement and growing traffic/impressions.
• Experience running social accounts for a company or brand is a plus but not required.
• Ability to turn rough notes from founders into finished content.
• Self-directed: plan your week, propose topics, and ship with minimal oversight.
• Bonus: basic video editing and image/graphic design skills.

Responsibilities

• Create 2 to 3 social media posts per week, primarily on LinkedIn.
• Write and edit content for our website, including blog posts and new pages.
• Draft scripts for short marketing videos, and record some yourself if interested.
• Put together richer pieces when they help: case studies, simple infographics, and data-driven posts.
• Help shape a lightweight content calendar so all of the above stays consistent.
• Eventually, create and manage ad campaigns on LinkedIn and other channels.
