Job summary

ASU Preparatory Academy is seeking part-time, remote teachers to deliver instruction across multiple grades as digital educators. Compensation is hourly and based on the assigned workload, with no benefits.

Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in education, valid state certification, and ability to engage diverse learners. Responsibilities include creating lessons, adapting instruction to needs, communicating with families, and maintaining records in SIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent
• Valid State Teaching Certificate (AEPA/NES may be required)
• Professional verification of classroom teaching
• Equivalency of experience/training considered
• Satisfactory criminal background check
• AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities

• Delivers instruction.
• Adapts curriculum and learning styles to meet student needs.
• Maintains open communication with parents about academic and discipline issues.
• Logs communications in SIS and finalizes grades.
• Develops lesson plans aligned with objectives and school guides.
• Maintains confidentiality of student and staff information.
