Job summary

ASU Preparatory Academy seeks a Digital Adjunct Instructional Staff member to deliver content and support student learning in a remote, part-time capacity. The role emphasizes ILP development, student motivation, and ongoing professional growth within a digital environment.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction, communicating with families, and facilitating weekly live lessons using Canvas, Zoom, and Google Suites. Remote work with flexible hours is available as positions arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education from an accredited college or university.
• State-aligned teaching certificate; appropriate endorsements may be required.
• Active DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Equivalent experience, training or education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Delivers instruction in a specific content area and adapts curriculum to meet student needs.
• Maintains regular communication with parents/guardians about academic and discipline issues.
• Develops, analyzes, and implements ILP for students based on assessments.
• Ensures instructional hours per week align with guidelines.
• Collaborates with school team and maintains a productive learning environment.
• Facilitates weekly Live Lessons in a webinar setting for a grade level.
• Uses devices and online tools to support online learning and provides descriptive feedback on student work.
