Job summary

Generational Care is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to support nutritional health for older adults served by Mid-Columbia Meals on Wheels. The position offers remote work with the option to work on-site at the Richland, WA kitchen, and requires collaboration with the Meals on Wheels Director to plan and monitor menus.

Qualifications

• Must be a current RD/RDN with Washington credentials.
• WA Food Worker Card or ability to obtain within 14 days of employment.
• Valid WA driver's license and ability to travel in a personal or company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Meals on Wheels Director to develop and approve menus including regular, modified, low-sodium, and culturally appropriate diets.
• Ensure menus meet federal and WA Senior Nutrition Program requirements and contract terms.
• Develop and review nutrition education materials, newsletters, and sessions.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinators on nutritional needs of home-delivered clients.
• Provide individual nutrition consultations and referrals to resources as needed.
• Maintain nutrition documentation, activity records, and reports.
• Coordinate with WA Department of Health and other agencies as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of client, employee, and organizational information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
