RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide essential nutritional care at an Adult Day Health Care facility. The role offers a consistent part-time schedule with a blend of on-site and remote work, approx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Current state licensure/certification in California (if mandated).
• Experience in geriatric nutrition and chronic disease management is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic nutritional assessments for incoming participants with specialized diet orders, focusing on geriatric nutrition and chronic disease management.
• Develop and review menus to ensure they meet USDA guidelines.
• Perform monthly kitchen sanitation audits using a provided checklist to ensure compliance.
• Provide nutritional counseling to participants during on-site visits or through inservices as needed.
• Review and sign off on the facility menu.
• Utilize remote time for finalizing audits, menu review, and preparation for education or inservices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition care as needed.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
