Job summary

Meta Resources Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to establish governance, drive integrated planning, and coordinate across business, technology, QA, and consulting teams for a large healthcare transformation program. The contract is part-time (20 hours/week) with remote work and some travel to Chicago for milestones.

The role covers PMO processes, status reporting, RAID management, and delivery governance across multiple workstreams, with a possible end date in early 2027.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a PMO/governance role.
• Strong expertise in project governance, integrated planning & tracking, and critical-path management.
• Experience preparing executive-level status reports, dashboards, and steering committee materials.
• Hands-on RAID log management, risk identification, and issue escalation/resolution.
• Solid cross-functional coordination skills across business, technology, QA, and consulting teams.
• Proficient with project management tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project governance, PMO processes, standards, templates, and operating cadence across all program workstreams.
• Manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and critical-path activities; identify schedule risks.
• Prepare weekly/monthly status reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and steering committee materials.
• Own RAID logs and drive timely resolution and escalation of critical items.
• Coordinate activities across business, technology, QA, and consulting teams for timely deliverables.
• Manage governance meetings: agendas, decisions, actions, and follow-ups.
• Monitor deliverables and milestones; identify gaps and coordinate corrective actions with workstream leads.
• Maintain project documentation and governance artifacts for transparency and auditability.
