Job summary

National Math and Science Initiative is seeking a part-time, hourly Coach to deliver professional development for math and science educators nationwide. You will develop curricular materials, run training events, and model high-quality instructional practices both online and in-person.

The role supports content workshops and leadership workshops, with occasional travel for in-person events. Remote work from anywhere in the contiguous United States is supported, reporting to the Manager, Program

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of K–12 teaching experience in a specific content area.
• Strong knowledge of college-readiness standards (AP, CCSS, NGSS).
• Ability to design and facilitate adult learning and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional development for teachers and leaders online and in-person.
• Develop and pilot curricular materials for educators and students.
• Produce tailored training events for partner districts.
• Create new content including activities, lessons, and units.
• Model effective teaching strategies for stakeholders.
• Promote NMSI mission and recruit coaches as needed.
