Job summary

National Training Network (NTN) is seeking an Instructional Math Coach to support teachers and leaders across the Southeast. This part-time role focuses on modeling lessons, delivering professional development, and using data to improve math instruction.

You’ll collaborate with educators, travel as needed within the region, and contribute to NTN’s proven math success curriculum while building strong classroom outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certified educator with at least 5 years of math teaching experience (3+ consecutive years in the classroom).
• Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards – Mathematics (K–12) and Standards for Mathematical Practice.
• Experience mentoring and coaching teachers; able to observe classrooms.
• Excellent communication skills; data-informed instruction ability.
• Willingness to travel within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Model best practices through engaging math lesson demonstrations
• Lead interactive, standards-based training sessions rooted in NTN methodology
• Coach and mentor teachers to improve classroom instruction and student outcomes
• Collaborate with school and district leaders to align efforts and meet professional development goals
• Analyze classroom data and help teachers plan purposeful, standards-aligned instruction
• Provide actionable feedback and complete regular reports on coaching impact
• Stay current with trends in mathematics education and contribute to continuous program improvement
