Job summary

Christendom College is seeking a Mid-Level Giving Officer to cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of mid-level donors. The role supports increasing annual giving and donor retention while bridging mid-level and major gift work.

The position is 20 hours per week, part-time, with flexible scheduling. Remote work is offered, with in-person training possible for Front Royal-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of fundraising, donor relations, or related professional experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Be an active, practicing Catholic committed to the teachings of the magisterium.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings.

Responsibilities

• Manages and grows a portfolio of approximately 400 mid-level donors.
• Cultivates relationships to deepen engagement with Christendom College's mission.
• Assesses donor interests and motivations to tailor engagement.
• Maximizes donor retention and increases annual giving; promotes to major gifts.
• Leverages multiple channels (email, webinars, mailings) for engagement.
• Maintains accurate donor records in the donor database.
• Conducts high-volume outbound discovery calls to donors.
• Executes thank-you actions within 24 hours; completes actions within two weeks.
• Responds promptly to donor inquiries and communications.
