YO AI Labs is seeking an in-house General Counsel for a part-time, remote role to support an innovative legal AI project. You will bring 3+ years of technology transactions experience, with hands-on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.
Hands-on experience with contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining.
Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and other technology agreements.
Strong analytical and legal reasoning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interest in law, technology, and AI.

Responsibilities

Perform simulated contract negotiations, reviews, and redlining exercises.
Draft and review MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and other technology agreements.
Evaluate AI-generated contract scenarios for accuracy, legal reasoning, and risk identification.
Provide actionable feedback to improve AI model performance.
Develop evaluation rubrics and grading criteria for contract tasks.
Identify contractual risks, inconsistencies, and areas requiring revision.
Collaborate with product and research teams to improve legal workflows.
Document legal analysis and recommendations clearly and consistently.
