YO AI Labs is seeking an in-house General Counsel for a part-time, remote role to support an innovative legal AI project. You will bring 3+ years of technology transactions experience, with hands-on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.
• Hands-on experience with contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and other technology agreements.
• Strong analytical and legal reasoning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interest in law, technology, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations, reviews, and redlining exercises.
• Draft and review MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and other technology agreements.
• Evaluate AI-generated contract scenarios for accuracy, legal reasoning, and risk identification.
• Provide actionable feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Develop evaluation rubrics and grading criteria for contract tasks.
• Identify contractual risks, inconsistencies, and areas requiring revision.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to improve legal workflows.
• Document legal analysis and recommendations clearly and consistently.
