Placements24 is seeking a Part-time Financial Accountant to manage our client’s financial operations remotely from the Paarl region. The role includes maintaining the general ledger, processing payables/receivables, and preparing monthly statements with budgeting support.

The candidate should have 3+ years in accounting, proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and strong Excel skills, plus ability to work independently in a remote setting and deliver accurate reports.

Qualifikationen

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in small to medium business.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Xero; strong Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and remote work capability.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in agricultural or hospitality sector is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Manage payroll processing and related statutory submissions.
• Ensure compliance with basic tax regulations.
• Provide financial reporting to management.
• Assist with inventory and asset financial record-keeping.
