Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes to outpatient visits.
• Assign Evaluation and Management codes for physician encounters.
• Review records to code diagnoses and procedures with accuracy.
• Collaborate with Patient Accounting and clinical areas for reimbursement.
• Interpret documentation to report appropriate codes and modalities.
• Follow coding guidelines to achieve high accuracy.
• Resolve claim edit failures as assigned.
• Meet minimum coding productivity and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
