Bechtel is seeking a Project Billing Specialist in Houston, TX, to provide professional financial and economic support reporting to the Billing Supervisor. The Project Billing Specialist will perform contractual invoicing for the Houston project, ensuring that financial controls and procedures align with Bechtel policies and contract terms.

This position is designated as part-time telework and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in billing roles.
• Understanding of accounting principles, concepts, and terminology.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Preferred: experience with Oracle Financials.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a complete and thorough understanding of the financial requirements of the prime contract.
• Review unbilled cost transactions, unit rate transactions, and account reconciliations to ensure all costs are billed timely, held items are addressed promptly, and transactions are categorized correctly according to contract billing terms.
• Coordinate with the Service Center Billing Organization to ensure accurate and timely client billing delivery.
• Partner with Project Management, Project Controls, and other project teams that impact the billing process.
• Collaborate with Project Finance team members, particularly regarding the billing of supplier and subcontractor invoices to the client.
• Implement and continuously improve billing controls and processes to ensure compliance and meet required deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
