Job summary

Phileo Shared Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented part-time Accounting Assistant to support partner Christian schools with financial administration. This is a remote position with occasional in-person meetings in the greater Philadelphia region.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, proficiency with accounting software, and payroll experience. Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently from home

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software.
• Payroll experience, preferably in a school or nonprofit setting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• High attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
• Personal commitment to Jesus Christ and solid understanding of the Word of God. There should be evidence of a godly lifestyle based on a commitment to Jesus Christ.
• A passion for Christian education, paired with a commitment to DC’s mission and alignment with biblical values.
