Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a 100% remote Paralegal to support 9 Tort Attorneys in New Jersey. You will work in a paperless environment assisting with discovery, pleadings, briefs, and documentation to support insurance defense cases.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of paralegal experience in a high-volume litigation setting, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage large document productions for clients and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in a paperless insurance defense environment.
• Paralegal Certification is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with discovery, motions, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, responses to discovery, and related documents.
• Support Attorneys and liaise with clients, claims, courts, and counsel.
• Maintain billing and document production for high-volume litigation.
