We are seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in insurance defense to join a busy and well-established Hartford office.

This role is best suited for someone who has hands-on experience supporting insurance defense matters and can step in with minimal training in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle high-volume document review, productions, and discovery specific to insurance defense cases
• Prepare cases for trial, including organizing exhibits, compiling evidence, and drafting exhibit lists
• Draft medical chronologies, narrative summaries, and litigation materials commonly used in defense work
• Support attorneys throughout all phases of insurance defense litigation
• Conduct legal research and gather case-specific information
• File pleadings, motions, and other documents in state and federal courts

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of litigation paralegal experience, with a strong focus on insurance defense
• Proven experience supporting insurance defense attorneys and case workflows
• Civil litigation experience will be considered, but insurance defense is strongly preferred
• Experience with eDiscovery and trial preparation
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures
• Excellent organizational, writing, and multitasking skills
