Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a highly organized paralegal to support the Legal department with drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering routine commercial agreements. This remote USA-based role covers contract workflows, compliance processes, and records management across a regulated environment.

The candidate should have paralegal credentials, experience with NDAs, BAAs, and CLM systems, plus strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing, drafting, or negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare privacy and BAAs is preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries and contract lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage routine commercial agreements (NDAs, BAAs, equipment loan agreements).
• Identify legal and business risks and elevate issues to supervising attorneys.
• Support contract negotiations with stakeholders and counterparties.
• Design and roll out updated contract management systems for vendor agreements.
• Administer the contract lifecycle from intake to execution and archiving.
• Generate reports on contract activity and turnaround times.
• Assist with healthcare compliance processes and related recordkeeping.
