Job summary

Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. seeks a highly organized paralegal to support the Legal department with drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering routine commercial agreements while coordinating contract workflows in a regulated industry.

This role focuses on NDAs, BAAs, equipment loan agreements, amendments, and contract lifecycle management, plus healthcare compliance activities and cross‑functional collaboration to identify risks and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing, drafting, or negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with healthcare privacy requirements and BAAs.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage routine commercial agreements including NDAs and BAAs.
• Coordinate contract workflows and support contract negotiations with business stakeholders.
• Help design and roll-out contract management systems for vendor agreements.
• Administer the contract lifecycle from intake to execution and archiving.
• Maintain templates, playbooks, and standard language.
• Generate reports on contract activity and turnaround times.
• Support healthcare compliance processes and related documentation.
