Job summary

Venus Aerospace Corp. is seeking an experienced paralegal to provide high‑level legal and administrative support to the General Counsel and Legal team.

This fully remote role requires significant experience in defense or aerospace regulatory matters and expertise with government contracting processes, FAR/DFARS, and compliance. You will draft and review contracts, manage governance records, coordinate government and commercial agreements, support audits and investigations, and help implement

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years paralegal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government setting.
• Active paralegal certification or degree (e.g., ABA‑approved paralegal certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies).
• Experience supporting legal work in defense, aerospace, government, or government‑adjacent environment.

Responsibilities

• Support contract drafting, review, redlining, and lifecycle management.
• Manage corporate governance artifacts and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate government and commercial agreements and maintain documentation repositories.
• Conduct legal research including FAR/DFARS; ensure compliance obligations.
• Prepare materials for audits, government inquiries, and compliance reviews (e.g., CUI, cybersecurity, export controls).
• Develop internal processes, templates, and policy frameworks.
• Assist with due diligence, financing activities, and board documentation.
• Coordinate with outside counsel across litigation, IP, corporate, and regulatory matters.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for executive leadership.
