Job summary

Gray AES is seeking a Packaging Engineer III to join our team across multiple locations including Atlanta, GA and remote options. The role focuses on designing, installing and commissioning packaging line projects for consumer products, with emphasis on packaging systems engineering and ROI-driven improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in mechanical/industrial/packaging systems engineering, 5+ years of packaging equipment experience, and strong communication, CAD and MS Office skills

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, industrial or packaging systems engineering (packaging systems emphasis preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to coordinate across project disciplines.
• Proficiency with MS Office; advanced Excel skills a plus.
• Experience with packaging equipment systems and LED/ROI-driven improvements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, install and commission packaging lines focused on consumer products.
• Lead packaging systems design and integration across FEL/FEED to commissioning.
• Prepare equipment lists, data sheets, P&IDs, and block flow diagrams.
• Travel as required (20%–50% depending on project stage and location).
