Job summary

Gray AES seeks a Packaging Engineer III to design, install and commission packaging lines for consumer products. The role supports full project phases and collaborates across engineering and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has a BS in packaging systems engineering and 5+ years in packaging equipment; strong communication and MS Office skills are essential. Travel will be required across project sites in the US.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, industrial or packaging systems engineering; emphasis on packaging preferred.
• 5+ years in packaging equipment systems engineering or related field.
• Experience with packaging systems for food/bev/CPG/pharma is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross‑discipline coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Office; advanced Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, installation and commissioning of packaging lines for consumer products.
• Support or lead project delivery from FEL/FEED through commissioning.
• Develop equipment lists, P&IDs, and facility diagrams as needed.
• Collaborate across teams and vendor bids; travel as required.
