Job summary

Design Group, part of Barry-Wehmiller, is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer in Greenville, SC to lead packaging projects for clients in pharma, beverage, food, and industrial sectors.

You will design equipment, lead teams, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving efficiency and ROI. You will collaborate with clients and vendors, manage scope and schedules, and travel as needed to installations and customer meetings.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Demonstrated packaging equipment knowledge across filling, secondary packaging, and palletizing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate packaging equipment designs and modify solutions for clients.
• Lead packaging and equipment projects as a senior/SME on multi-industry assignments.
• Identify and troubleshoot packaging issues; support maintenance to improve productivity.
