Murphy Insurance Agency, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Lines P&C Placement Specialist to market, negotiate, and place new commercial insurance business. You will collaborate with producers, account managers, and underwriters to secure competitive coverage and maintain carrier relationships.

The role offers either office-based work in MA or fully remote options in MA, NH, or RI, with standard business hours. A strong work ethic and customer-focused approach are essential for success in this

Formación

• 5–7+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance (agency, broker, or carrier).
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Experience in marketing and placing new business.

Responsabilidades

• Review new business submissions for completeness, quality, and marketability.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for commercial P&C risks.
• Submit applications to appropriate carriers and wholesalers.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with underwriters.
• Analyze coverage proposals and recommend optimal solutions.
• Maintain accurate records in Agency Management System (EPIC).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and wholesale partners.
• Identify new markets and coverage solutions to enhance placement capabilities.
• Partner with producers to understand client risk profiles and sales strategies.
• Work with account management teams to ensure seamless handoff after placement.
• Provide technical guidance on complex risks and coverage structures.
• Prepare comprehensive insurance proposals and review binders and policy documents for accuracy.
