Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages (e.g., GL, Property, Auto, Umbrella, Workers’ Comp, Professional).
• Proven experience in marketing and placing new business.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Review new business submissions for completeness, quality, and marketability.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for commercial P&C risks.
• Submit applications to appropriate carriers and wholesalers.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with underwriters.
• Analyze coverage proposals and recommend optimal solutions.
• Maintain accurate records in Agency Management System (EPIC).
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and placement success rates.
