Job summary

Murphy Insurance Agency, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Lines P&C Placement Specialist to market, negotiate, and place new commercial insurance with carriers. You will collaborate with producers, account managers, and underwriters to secure coverage that fits client needs while maintaining carrier relationships.

The role can be located in Hudson, MA or Groton, MA, or fully remote in MA, NH, or RI. Hybrid/office/remote options are available with a standard Mon-Thu 8am-4:30pm, Fri 8am-4pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Experience in marketing and placing commercial P&C risks.

Responsibilities

• Review new business submissions for completeness and marketability.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for commercial P&C risks.
• Submit applications to carriers and wholesalers.
• Negotiate terms, conditions and pricing with underwriters.
• Analyze coverage proposals and recommend optimal solutions.
• Maintain accurate records in the Agency Management System.
