Murphy Insurance Agency, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Lines P&C Placement Specialist to market, negotiate, and place new commercial insurance business. The role collaborates with producers, account managers, and underwriting partners to secure competitive coverage and maintain carrier relationships.

Based in MA/NH/RI remote or hybrid work arrangements support flexibility. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in commercial P&C, holds an active P&C license, and is experienced with middle market

Formación

• 5–7+ years of experience in commercial P&C insurance (agency, broker, or carrier).
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages (GL, Property, Auto, Umbrella, Workers’ Comp, Professional).
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Experience with middle market or large account placements.
• Prior experience utilizing Applied EPIC.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to evolving business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review new business submissions for completeness, quality, and marketability.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for commercial P&C risks.
• Submit applications to appropriate carriers and wholesalers.
• Maintain accurate records in Agency Management System (EPIC).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and wholesale partners.
• Partner with producers to understand client risk profiles and sales strategies.
• Work with account management teams to ensure seamless handoff after placement.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex risks and coverage structures.
• Work with sales team to prepare comprehensive insurance proposals.
• Review binders, quotes, and policy documents for accuracy.
• Ensure all placements comply with internal and regulatory requirements.

Description The Commercial Lines Property & Casualty (P&C) Placement Specialist is responsible for marketing, negotiating, and placing new commercial insurance business with carriers. This role works closely with producers, account managers, and underwriting partners to secure competitive coverage solutions that meet client needs while maintaining carrier relationships.

The ideal candidate will be located in our Hudson, MA or Groton, MA office, or can be fully remote from MA, NH, or RI only.

The hours for this full-time position are:

• Review new business submissions for completeness, quality, and marketability
