Job summary

Slalom is seeking a hands-on P&C Insurance Product Manager to translate insurance business needs into technology-enabled product capabilities. This role partners with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize development, and bring new products to market.

The ideal candidate combines strong Property & Casualty knowledge with practical tech product management experience and thrives in a small, fast-moving cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Strong P&C insurance knowledge.
• Experience leading product ownership in a tech environment.
• Experience launching new products and features.
• Proficiency creating PRDs, requirements, product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience prioritizing backlog by business value.

Responsibilities

• Translate P&C needs into clear product requirements and capabilities.
• Develop PRDs, product specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
• Partner with engineering throughout design, development, testing, and release.
• Own discovery, prioritization, roadmaps, and release planning.
• Evaluate trade-offs and align stakeholders on scope and priorities.
• Support launches and ongoing improvement of new tech products.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and business leaders.
• Apply AI-enabled or specification-driven development practices where appropriate.
