Job summary

Slalom is seeking a hands-on P&C Insurance Product Manager to translate insurance business needs into tech-enabled product capabilities. You will partner with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize development, and bring new products to market.

The ideal candidate combines strong Property & Casualty knowledge with practical product management experience in a small, fast-moving cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Strong Property & Casualty insurance domain knowledge.
• Experience in technology product management.
• Hands‑on experience creating PRDs and user stories.
• Experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features.

Responsibilities

• Translate P&C insurance needs into product requirements and capabilities.
• Develop PRDs, product specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlogs.
• Collaborate with engineering throughout design, development, testing, and release.
• Own product discovery, prioritization, roadmap inputs, and release planning.
• Evaluate trade-offs and align stakeholders on scope and priorities.
• Support launches and ongoing improvements of technology products and features.
• Work with engineering, design, insurance SMEs, and business leaders.
• Apply AI-enabled or specification-driven development practices where appropriate.
