Qualifications
- Strong P&C insurance knowledge.
- Experience crafting product requirements and user stories.
- Hands-on product ownership in a tech environment.
- Experience creating PRDs, requirements, stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience managing product backlogs and prioritizing features.
- Proven ability to work closely with software engineers.
- Ability to translate complex insurance needs into technical specs.
- Comfortable owning delivery in a small cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Translate P&C insurance needs into clear product requirements and capabilities.
- Develop PRDs, product specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlogs.
- Partner with engineering throughout design, development, testing, and release.
- Own product discovery, prioritization, roadmap inputs, and release planning.
- Evaluate trade-offs and align stakeholders on scope and priorities.
- Support launch and ongoing improvement of new tech products and features.
- Collaborate with engineering, insurance SMEs, and business leaders.
- Apply AI-enabled or specification-driven development where appropriate.
