Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10+ years in Property & Casualty carrier accounting operations with GAAP & STAT reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial accounting activities for premiums, claims, and general ledger.
• Oversee month-end close activities including reconciliations, journal entries, and GAAP/STAT reporting.
• Coordinate required insurance regulatory reporting and ensure timely submissions of statements and schedules.
• Direct reinsurance financial administration including cash settlements and reporting to internal/external partners.
• Evaluate accounting workflows and recommend enhancements for efficiency and governance.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews by coordinating materials and promoting strong financial controls.
