Qualifications

• Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of claims processing and/or customer service experience.
• Equivalency of education and experience acceptable per background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Audits paid claims for identified overpayments using systems-based queries, specialized reporting, or other research.
• Coordinate benefits, Medicare, and medical policies for complex issues.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identifies and corrects contractual issues with contract managers when applicable.
• Performs collection activities to recover overpayments and manage cash applications.
• Researches voluntary refunds for accuracy.
• Balances all accounts accurately.
