This remote, third-shift role focuses on compassionate conversations, scheduling in-home visits, and guiding families through sensitive decisions while coordinating with veterinarians and the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, healthcare scheduling, or remote support is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain composure during emotional conversations and end-of-life discussions.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls during the 10 PM–6 AM overnight shift.
• Provide calm, compassionate support during emotional conversations.
• Explain Heartstrings services and appointment availability.
• Gather and document pet and family information.
• Schedule in-home veterinary appointments.
• Support families with hospice and end-of-life questions.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records and meet quality and attendance standards.
