Job summary

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company is seeking an Overnight Remote Staff Pharmacist Per Diem to join our telepharmacy team supporting multiple hospitals across several states. This fully remote role offers a 7 on/7 off schedule and about 52 hours per pay period.

The pharmacist will verify orders, provide drug information, assess dosing and interactions, and collaborate with care teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy is required; PharmD preferred.
• Active pharmacist license in IL or CA with good standing.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Complete remote order entry, order verification, and drug verification.
• Transitions of care medication reconciliation and IV therapies knowledge.
• Provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to providers.
• Assess dosing, interactions, and renal/hepatic adjustments.
• Communicate with physicians and nurses while documenting interventions.
