Job summary

The Cigna Group seeks a Remote Staff Pharmacist to support hospital telepharmacy across the U.S. from a fully remote setting. You will verify orders, reconcile transitions of care, and collaborate with care teams using multiple PIS and VPNs.

Active IL or CA licensure is required with willingness to add IA/NE/HI licenses. A PharmD is preferred and hospital experience is strongly valued; a competitive hourly rate applies with yearly bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
• Active and in good standing IL or CA pharmacist license required.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (IA, NE, HI).
• Strong clinical knowledge and comfort working across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Remote order entry, order verification, and drug verification.
• Transitions of care medication reconciliation.
• Navigate multiple pharmacy information systems (PIS).
• Provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to providers.
• Document interventions and clinical actions accurately and promptly.
