Balco, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our architectural solutions portfolio. You will prospect, present, and close deals with architects, contractors, and distributors from a remote base, traveling regionally as needed.

This B2B role requires construction-industry know-how, excellent relationship skills, and the ability to work independently. Balco offers a competitive base with commissions, health benefits, a 401(k) with match, ESOP, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• B2B outside sales experience, ideally in construction or architectural design.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and project lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Conduct outside sales to achieve regional targets, prospect and close deals.
• Identify and engage specialty contractors and facilitate product switches.
• Expand wallet share across product categories and solutions.
• Build relationships with key accounts, distributors, contractors, and designers.
• Perform product demonstrations and provide technical education.
• Travel regionally up to 50%+ to meet clients and attend events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and negotiate terms.
• Track sales performance and report market trends using CRM.
• Identify new business opportunities by analyzing local market conditions.
• Role may include other duties as directed.
