Job summary

BCBST BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc. is seeking an Outreach Pharmacy Specialist-3 to support the Senior Care Outreach and Retention team.

You will act as a key contact for members navigating pharmacy and health plan benefits, focusing on medication adherence and education, while handling inbound and outbound calls. You must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• Experience in a retail or health plan environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to document interactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Review and relay pharmacy information to members and providers.
• Conduct outbound educational calls about medication adherence as directed.
• Motivate and support members to refill prescriptions and coordinate with providers/pharmacies.
• Handle inbound customer service inquiries by phone and document interactions.
