Job summary

Talkiatry is a virtual mental health practice built by clinicians, for clinicians. This role offers 100% remote outpatient therapy with flexible scheduling, a predictable W-2 compensation, and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision.

Clinicians maintain autonomous practice within an outpatient model designed for virtual care. You’ll join a team supported by in-house scheduling, billing, credentialing, and licensing assistance, with a defined caseload and clear expectations.

Qualifications

• Independently licensed therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent).
• Active, unrestricted license with multi-state licensing support.
• Two or more independent and active state licenses (except CA, NY and MA).
• Comfort managing a consistent outpatient caseload.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and independent decision-making.
• Experience from outpatient, community mental health, hospital, IOP, or other structured settings preferred.
• Not designed for supervision toward licensure or to build a fully self-directed 1099/private practice; team role.

Responsibilities

• 100% remote, outpatient therapy.
• Lower to moderate acuity populations (anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, others).
• Standard session lengths (60-minute intakes and follow-ups).
• Consistent outpatient caseload with defined, transparent goals.
• No inpatient, IOP/PHP, or crisis-call responsibilities.
• In-house referral network to/from psychiatrists.
• Full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, credentialing, and licensing.
