Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, offers a remote coding role eligible in District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. You will codify and abstract outpatient records, assist with ER leveling and infusion coding, and meet accuracy and production standards.

Required: 1–3 years of experience; Associate's Degree; CCS, COC, RHIA, or RHIT. Preferred: Certified Professional Coder.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3 years of experience in medical coding.
• Codify and abstract outpatient records and assist with ER leveling and infusion coding.
• Must meet departmental accuracy and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Code and abstract outpatient records and assist with coding and charging infusion cases as needed.
• Meet departmental accuracy and production standards.
• Support billing workflows as part of the HIM team.
