LifeBridge Health is seeking a remote Medical Coder to join our health system. You will code and abstract day surgery and outpatient records, assist with ER coding and infusion case charging, and keep workflow up to date.

The role requires 1-3 years of experience, an Associate's degree, and CCS/COC/RHIA/RHIT certifications (RHIT/RHIA preferred). Eligible remote states include DC, MD, PA, VA, and WV. Benefits include health/dental/vision, retirement, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Licenses and Certification: CCS, COC, RHIA, or RHIT required.
• RHIT or RHIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code and abstract medical records of day surgery and outpatient records following established conventions.
• Assist with coding and leveling ERs as needed.
• Assist with coding and charging infusion cases as needed.
• Keep work up to date.
