Job summary

LifeBridge Health System's Sinai Hospital in Baltimore seeks a remote Medical Records Coder to follow established conventions and guidelines, coding and abstracting outpatient records. The role supports accurate coding and timely documentation from a remote location.

You will assist with coding and leveling ERs as needed, as well as coding and charging infusion cases, while ensuring adherence to departmental accuracy and production standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in medical records or health information management.
• Associate's Degree preferred for this role.
• CCS, COC, RHIA, or RHIT certifications required.
• Certified Professional Coder preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code and abstract outpatient medical records following established conventions.
• Assist with coding and leveling ERs as needed.
• Assist with coding and charging infusion cases as needed.
• Meet department accuracy and production standards.

Pay Range: $22.22 to $36.57 Based On Experience
