Facility Type/Size: 500+ beds Health system, Teaching/Trauma Level I

Location: Remote

Job Title: Remote SDS/OBS/ED Coder

Number of Positions: 5

Start Date: Mid July

Duration/Job Type: Contract long term

Schedule/Hours/Flexibility: 40 hours Monday- Friday

Case Mix/Info:

The Outpatient Coders will need help in the following:

• General Surgery, gastro, OBS, Straight ED no Injections or Infusions, No E/M levels.

Productivity:

ED - 17/hr; OBS 3.6/hr; SDS - 4.5/hr; ANC 19.7/hr; OP ER & DX-17

Systems Used: Epic/3M 360

Technical Info: Reliable computer, high-speed internet, dual screens, etc.

This is a FT opportunity.

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of coding experience in an acute care setting (trauma/teaching experience preferred)
• Active coding credentials through AHIMA or AAPC

Pay Rate: Starting at $33.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
