Job summary

Cable One is seeking an OSP Designer II to create cost-effective broadband system designs while upholding Cable One standards. You will prepare detailed engineering drawings using CAD and GIS tools and collaborate with Technical Operations, Construction, and Engineering to deliver complete design packages.

Ideal candidates have an AA degree with 5+ years in outside plant design or GIS, strong knowledge of ESRI and Schneider software, and the ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with five years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience with GIS applications such as ESRI and Schneider design software.
• Familiarity with cable design and HFC/Fiber concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design new and existing HFC plant extensions.
• Perform base drafting and read walkout information.
• Update as-builts as construction progresses and releases.
• Provide complete construction build packets with full design deliverables.
