Cable One is seeking an OSP Designer II to create broadband system designs cost-effectively while meeting Cable One standards. The role uses CAD and GIS to support Engineering, Construction, and Technical Operations, producing design files and as-builts.

You will work on HFC and fiber projects, read walkouts, and manage multiple designs with accuracy. Remote options are available for qualified candidates across several states.

Qualificações

• Associates degree or equivalent with 5+ years related experience.
• Experience in outside plant design, construction, or GIS preferred.
• Proficiency with ESRI GIS and Schneider design software.
• Understanding of HFC and fiber design conventions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design new and existing HFC plant extensions.
• Prepare base drafting and accurate as-built updates.
• Read and interpret walkout information.
• Deliver complete construction build packets with design deliverables.
• Learn new software and adapt to new technology.
• Create fiber splicing matrices and Lightpath circuits.
• Assess fiber availability and reinforcement requirements.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy.
