Job summary

Cable One is seeking an OSP Designer II to create broadband system designs cost-effectively while upholding Cable One standards. This role supports engineering teams, prepares CAD/GIS files, and helps maintain design/digitizing standards.

A strong background in GIS and fiber/HFC design is preferred, with opportunities for remote work in listed states. Responsibilities include drafting, walkout interpretation, and producing complete build packets on schedule, collaborating across Technical

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 5+ years related experience; outside plan design or GIS experience preferred.
• Intermediate GIS software knowledge per Cable One standards.
• Experience reading and interpreting design standards.

Responsibilities

• Design new and existing HFC plant extensions.
• Perform base drafting.
• Read walkout information accurately.
• Update as-builts as construction is completed and release the area.
• Provide complete construction build packet with full design deliverables.
