Qualifications

• 5+ years pro-fee coding experience in Orthopedics and podiatry services.
• Intermediate knowledge of Medicare guidelines and modifier application.
• Intermediate level of experience in Epic and working with denials.
• High School Diploma/GED and CPC credentialing required.

Responsibilities

• Assigns accurate CPT and ICD-10 codes for outpatient hospital professional accounts.
• Monitors work queues to ensure timely charging and coding.
• Generates coding queries for clarification on documentation as needed.
• Stay updated on coding changes and guidelines.
