• Intermediate knowledge of Medicare guidelines and modifier application.
• Moderate work experience within own function.

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate diagnostic and procedure codes according to clinical documentation.
• Monitor assigned work queues to ensure timely coding.
• Generate coding queries for clarification regarding physician documentation.

Skills

Professional CPC coder certification

Pro-fee coding experience in Orthopedics

Knowledge of Medicare guidelines

Experience in Epic
