Perle is seeking a freelance Oromo transcriptionist to transcribe 2-speaker audio with channel separation, adding speaker labels and timestamps. You will produce clean, accurate transcripts ready for review.

This remote role requires near-native Oromo, strong writing, and the ability to work independently and meet daily output targets. Rolling onboarding and equal opportunity employment are offered. A reliable internet connection and a stable daily schedule of at least 4 hours are required.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Oromo (spoken and written).
• Strong spelling, punctuation and grammar in Oromo.
• Ability to meet daily output targets and work independently.

Responsabilités

• Listen to 2-speaker Oromo audio recordings with channel separation.
• Type out what each speaker says, accurately and completely.
• Label each speaker turn as Speaker 1 or Speaker 2 and add timestamps at the start of each turn.
• Ensure transcripts are sequential with no gaps.
