Job summary

civil-recruit is seeking a seasoned Oracle Core HR functional lead who deeply understands HR foundational concepts and can walk into an existing live HR system to assess the impact of changes to legal entity, business unit, location, and department. This is a hands-on role, not just advisory.

The engagement is remote with 10-20% travel to DC (expenses paid) for a 6-9 month period. The ideal candidate has multiple full-lifecycle Oracle Core HR implementations and strong knowledge of Oracle HCM

Qualifications

• Multiple full-lifecycle Oracle Core HR implementations.
• Strong grasp of Oracle HCM foundation objects: business units, departments, jobs, positions, and enterprise/work structures.
• Comfortable working hands-on in the system directly rather than purely advising.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR to assess impact of restructures on the Core HR foundation.
• Participate in and drive the detailed design phase for HR from the finance team's global design.
• Get hands-on in the system to trace and validate impacts and downstream changes.
• Act as a subject-matter expert during early design/decision periods, coordinating with an offshore team.
