Job summary

Buxton Consulting is seeking an ERP program coordinator to manage interconnected schedules and governance for an Oracle E‑Business Suite deployment. This role has no delivery authority; you will maintain the plan, chase open items, prepare the decision log, and support go/no-go gates through go-live and hypercare with weekly status updates.

Qualifications

• Five or more years coordinating or managing enterprise resource planning implementations.
• Hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite experience. Release 12 preferred.
• Has built and maintained a dependency-linked schedule in Microsoft Project, including critical path and float.
• Has worked inside a Conference Room Pilot delivery model across multiple cycles.
• Working level JIRA skills: versions, filters, dashboards and bulk edits.
• Cutover planning and go-live coordination on at least one production implementation.
• Clear written status reporting to an executive audience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain one schedule with dependencies, durations and named owners. Republishes weekly with float against the go-live date.
• Keep a fix version and a due date on every open JIRA item. Chases unassigned items to an owner.
• Maintain one readiness status per interface, updated weekly, covering the Oracle and non-Oracle applications.
• Produce a one-page weekly status: milestone dates, float, risks, decisions needed and exceptions carried.
• Prepare the agenda, the decision list and the pre-read for the steering committee. Record outcomes.
• Track every open decision with a requester, a decider and a required by date. Escalates at ten working days.
• Assembles the evidence against written criteria for both go and no-go gates.
• Owns the cutover runbook and coordinates the rehearsal.
• Publishes defect burn-down and coordinates daily triage during test events.
• Keeps the risk register current and escalates anything scoring above the agreed threshold.
