Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a multi-year Oracle Customer Care & Billing upgrade on a remote, contract basis. You will plan, coordinate, and implement the upgrade, align cross-functional teams, vendors, and a System Integrator, and deliver a post-upgrade cloud-readiness assessment.

The role requires a background in enterprise technology initiatives with strong governance, risk, and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

10+ years of project management experience leading large, complex enterprise technology initiatives.
Proven success coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams and third-party vendors.
Experience managing scope, schedules, risks, issues, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
Background producing project charters, resource plans, RACI matrices, schedules, risk and issue logs, governance reports, and executive status updates.
Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred: PMP or equivalent certification.
Preferred: Experience with Oracle CCB or similar billing systems (3+ years).
Preferred: Experience leading enterprise app upgrades in utilities or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle delivery for the Oracle CCB upgrade, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and transition to operations.
Develop and maintain integrated project plans with internal teams and the System Integrator.
Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, decisions and dependencies.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders, SMEs, leadership teams, and vendors.
Drive governance, stage gates, and reporting requirements.
Oversee testing and quality assurance, including defect tracking and release readiness.
Support organizational change management and remove blockers to delivery.
Coordinate vendor and System Integrator performance and issue resolution.
Lead cutover planning and transition to operational support.
Deliver a post-upgrade cloud-readiness assessment and recommendations.
Ensure artifacts are stored per standards using Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online.
